I’m Rahul Bhatia, Founder and Director of PHR Consultants Back in 2008, I started PHR Consultants with a vision to help entrepreneurs and restaurateurs build successful and creatively driven hospitality ventures something I felt was missing in many restaurants at the time.

A Chef by Profession, my career began with The Taj Lands End, Mumbai, where I honed my craft and discipline in fine dining hospitality. Later, I advanced to The Grand Bhagwati (TGB) Group, Gujarat, gaining invaluable experience in large-scale restaurant operations and management.

To further strengthen my expertise, I was certified by the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad in Restaurant Management & Designing, solidifying my commitment to blending culinary artistry with strategic business acumen.

Today, under my leadership, PHR Consultants stands as a benchmark in turnkey restaurant and hotel development, with over 300+ successful projects across India, helping visionaries bring their hospitality dreams to life.

Rakesh Mevada

Partner & Interior Honcho

I’m Rakesh Mevada, a HORECA interior design specialist with over 20 years of experience in crafting immersive spaces for cafés, restaurants, and hotels. My passion lies in transforming creative concepts into functional, visually stunning realities that capture a brand’s true essence.

As a Post Graduate in Design Arts, I bring a deep understanding of space planning, HVAC systems, and fire safety compliance, ensuring that every project is not only aesthetic but also practical and compliant.

From the first 3D sketch to the final walkthrough, I make sure every design detail comes alive exactly as envisioned — blending creativity, technical precision, and a touch of artistry to create spaces that inspire both guests and owners alike.

Hi, I’m Akshay, Project Manager at PHR Restaurant Consultant & Management. As a Post Graduate in Commerce & Economics, I bring a strategic and analytical approach to every project we undertake.

At PHR, I head Operations, Recruitment, Creative Menu Engineering, and Staff Training, from the past 9 years ensuring every concept we build is not only innovative but also operationally sound and profitable. I take pride in bridging creativity with practicality — from designing efficient workflows and training dynamic teams to developing menus that align with brand identity and market trends.

For me, every project is an opportunity to craft experiences that leave a lasting impression on both guests and entrepreneurs.

Sanjay Ingavale

Hi, I’m Chef Sanjay Ingavale, and I’ve spent over 20 years in the culinary world, exploring flavours, techniques, and the art of presentation. For me, every dish should tell a story — one that excites the senses, evokes emotion, and stays memorable long after the meal is over.

At PHR Restaurant Consultant & Management, I take care of dish theatrics, presentation, and styling, ensuring that each creation reflects both creativity and consistency. My focus is not just on how a dish looks, but how it feels and tastes — maintaining that perfect balance over time for every restaurant we develop.

I also oversee kitchen operations and team training, helping chefs refine their skills and bring precision, discipline, and finesse into their daily work. My goal is simple — to make sure every kitchen runs like a well-tuned orchestra, producing food that delights guests and defines the restaurant’s identity.

Nikunj Lakhani

Creative Designer

Hi, I’m Nikunj Lakhani, a creative designer by profession with prior experience working with leading multinational organizations. At PHR Restaurant Consultant & Management, I head the creative design division, where ideas meet visual storytelling.

From menu cards, logos, and signage to websites, tent cards, and social media campaigns, I ensure every design reflects the brand’s personality and connects emotionally with its audience. I also manage online reputation and digital presence, helping our clients build strong, consistent identities across all platforms.

For me, design is not just about aesthetics — it’s about creating a visual experience that enhances how people perceive and remember a brand.
